Biology 11 Fetal Pig Dissection

A fetal pig dissection provides a hands-on opportunity for students to engage in an investigation of anatomy and physiology. The fetal pig is chosen because it has body systems that are similar to the human body systems.  During the dissection, students make links between structure and function and begin to identify interrelationships between the circulatory, respiratory, and digestive systems.
